We aren't recreational riders ... exactly. We probably ride for fun, but we don't stick to the quiet neighborhood streets on cool spring evenings. We aren't road racers ... exactly. More like road warriors. We may wear bibs and booties, but more often we grab an cuff strap or tuck our skirt between our legs and get after it. We don't talk about doing a "century," but we do a century every week ... or every two weeks ... just in the course of our daily rides to work or the store.

We are commuter cyclists and we live in a very different world -- a world that looks something like this.
